Interiors

The spaces within which we live, deeply affect how we feel about ourselves and how we live our lives. We either feel comfortable in them. Or not. They are either pleasing to our senses. Or not. They express who we are. Or not. They reflect our lifestyle. Or not. Indeed, when you think about it, interiors play a priceless role in enhancing the quality of our lives.

As a member of its advisory board, the thrill of walking through FALLING WATER never fails to excite me. I have an eternal appreciation to have been chosen to design the interiors in 1983 for this Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece.

Traditional

Traditional design a classic style that exemplifies elegance and comfort. It’s likely to pay homage to past eras while exuding a warm and inviting feel. Dark woods, refined colors, rich tones and regal furniture are staples of this style.

Transitional

Transitional design mixes diverse eras and elements to make a visually striking statement. The key is to blend traditional and contemporary [often unexpected] furniture and a smart use of color to complement finishes and fabrics to create a memorable impact.

Contemporary

Contemporary design is often confused with “modern” as it too is “of the moment”. But it is unique as it typically incorporates elements from the past. Simplicity, clean lines and quiet drama are signature characteristics.
